so those arent really the same as max, maya, blender and C4D.Īnyway, i used Maya and Max for a while, and i found both of them to just have alot of menu-hunting (although, Maya's spacebar-cardinalpoint-navigation was pretty nice). Revit and rhino are different monsters entirely, Revit is a BIM program, Rhino is a primarily a parametric modeller. but i find the learning curve to be much much more friendly than max maya and blender.

What's certain though is they then take that movie into a post-processing program such as After Affects or Final Cut Pro to add the moving entourage and other affects. Out of any of those packages they could render the camera stills to make up the movie. Other possibilities could be Maya, 3DS Max, Softimage, maybe even REVIT or Sketchup. Not sure if Rhino inherently has the camera features they employ but if it doesn't some plugin does. They can do that in any number of programs but it's likely they use Rhino, as it's probably Architecture's 3D program of choice. So they're creating flythroughs and moving through the spaces they design in some renderer but not taking the time to really polish it, which is fine. The reason is mostly because they're not photoshopping a still. They don't have the quality that a fully rendered 3D scene often does.
